EQnect Supervision supports Texas LMSWs in earning their LCSW license by building strong clinical skills and a solid ethical foundation. Our goal is to prepare future clinical social workers to serve clients with competence and integrity.

We offer both individual and group supervision to fit different needs. Sessions cover case reviews, ethics, emotional intelligence, therapeutic relationships, boundaries, countertransference, diagnosis, treatment planning, interventions, documentation, cultural competence, and career development.

A key part of our model includes the Five Button Framework, which helps supervisees recognize and manage core triggers of shame, rejection, control, abandonment, and failure in both themselves and their clients. This approach deepens clinical insight, strengthens empathy, and prepares future LCSWs to navigate complex client dynamics with clarity.

We also address personal well-being and professional growth. Topics include self-care, confidence, direct practice skills, dual relationships, mandated reporting, theoretical approaches, managing stress and burnout, and navigating challenges like imposter syndrome.
